The FRUITCAKE is in transit.
All be it a little late, but the FRUITCAKE is on its way to the resting place for 2009. I hope it won't be too cold. But as a positive, perhaps Derek can visit and take it for a ski.

Why not blog?
It's that time of year again. Tree's are decorated, presents are purchased, it's cold, hell has broken through the space time continuum and manifested itself in the form of shopping malls, and the FRUITCAKE is ready to be passed on. That's right, it's FRUITCAKE time.
In our flattened world, the year of 2008, you have to have a blog or internet presence of some sort. So this is it folks. The Keeper of the FRUITCAKE now has a blog. Perhaps this can become a living document, being passed on for generations until my great-great grandkids have it uploaded in their brain chips, or perhaps this will be the only post ever entered and Keeper of the Fruitcake will be another hit-and-run on the information superhighway. Whatever the fate of this blog, we know that the holidays will always be happy and the fruitcake will always live on.
